Arunachal CM inaugurates installations by Ecosense

Arunachal Pradesh Hon’ble C.M Shri Pema Khandu and Hon’ble Power Minister Shri Tamiyo Taga inaugurates Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Wind Energy Lab at Energy Awareness Park, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh installed by Ecosense Sustainable Solutions Pvt Ltd

Ecosense Installed Solar PV Lab, Solar thermal Lab and Wind Energy Lab at Energy Awareness Park, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh which is governed by Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA). This Energy Awareness Park also houses Arunachal Pradesh’s biggest solar power plant of 1MWp capacity.

Energy Awareness Park was inaugurated by Arunachal Pradesh’s Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu and Hon’ble Power Minister Shri Tamiyo Taga. Addressing the inauguration, CM urged the officials to venture into more such environment- friendly initiatives in the future. “Our activities should not disturb the environment. A solar power plant is more environment-friendly in comparison to a gas-based project,” CM Khandu said, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been initiating several measures to minimize the effect of global warming. The state government has stepped up efforts to fulfill the rural electrification target, set by the Centre, by the end of this year under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), he said.

Master’s Training Conducted

Ecosense also conducted a two-day Master’s Training. This training was focussed on educating and training the faculties on Ecosense’s Lab equipments who will further train hundreds of people.

Ecosense’s Solar PV lab enables users to learn about Solar PV Technology in a very easy and interactive manner. Solar PV Lab educates users in three different branches of Solar PV Technology that are Solar PV characteristics, Solar PV Standalone/Grid Tied configurations and Solar PV Research Area.

Ecosense’s Solar Thermal lab enables user to learn about Solar Thermal heating technology with natural and forced mode of flow of water. It also uses a heat exchanger to enable students to learn about conductive heating. This conductive heating is done by Heat transfer Oil.

Ecosense’s Wind Energy lab focuses on learning of wind energy concepts through a real time miniature Standalone/ Grid Connected wind power plant.

During Master’s training Ecosense’s Trainers also provided participants with research insights and explained how research can be conducted on Ecosense’s Lab equipments and how Ecosense can help them in conducting their research.
